From its humble beginnings in 1920, Oh Chin Hing Sesame Oil Factory has dedicated the last century to producing top-notch products used widely in both homes and restaurants. Over the years, we have consistently fine-tuned and improved our recipe for peak customer satisfaction. Due to our signature taste and superior quality, we have become a staple in kitchens all over Singapore and a prerequisite to the creation of mouth-watering, delicious meals.

The 1990s were revolutionary for Oh Chin Hing Sesame Oil Factory as the production procedure was mechanized, exponentially improving levels of hygiene and efficiency which contributed to the overall competence of the brand.

Our company prides itself on concocting only premium aromatic sesame oil using 100% natural ingredients with no artificial additives or preservatives. Hence, it is the perfect ingredient to take your cooking to the next level without compromising on health! Steadfast fans have commonly reported using it in frying or adding flavour to otherwise bland dishes such as soup and noodles. However, there is no fixed method in utilising our sesame oil.

From start to finish, Oh Chin Hing Sesame Oil Factory ensures that every step of the manufacturing process is carefully curated. We pick and import top grade sesame seeds, where each one is specially roasted and cold pressed in order to retain their desired properties and goodness. The result is an exclusive sesame oil which adds dimension to food and is an ambrosial delight!

Fun Fact: The Double Elephants featured for more than 50 years in Oh Chin Hing's logo came about when one of the founders stumbled upon two elephant statues during a house moving session long ago. Somehow, the image stuck. Unfortunately, these two elephant statues were destroyed during the Japanese Occupation.
